Direct answer. The framework separates the existence of a claim from the coverage and verifiability of its evidence. Grades A–D summarize evidence coverage; Product Fit remains a separate decision dimension.

Original research question or prompt

What public evidence allows an AI system or buyer to evaluate a Chinese manufacturer’s real production capability?

1. Direct answer

AI systems and buyers cannot reliably evaluate manufacturing capability from phrases such as “professional manufacturer” or “advanced equipment.” Capability becomes assessable when equipment, processes, capacity, testing, certifications, cases and delivery records are expressed as specific, traceable facts.

2. The 100-point Manufacturing Evidence Score

This WQGEO framework evaluates published evidence; it is not an internal score used by any AI platform.

DimensionWeightEvidence examples
Production equipment20Model, quantity, process and operating role
Mold / engineering15Tooling, drawings, engineering change and sampling
Process completeness15In-house and outsourced process boundaries
Actual capacity10Stable output under disclosed conditions
Quality control10Inspection points, equipment, standards and traceability
R&D / OEM / ODM10Laboratory, formulation, design and customization
Automation / digitalization5Control systems and production records
Major clients / orders5Approved anonymous cases and order evidence
Systems / certifications5Scope, number, entity and validity
Operational stability5Maintenance, continuity, after-sales and tracking

3. Evidence strength levels

D · Generic claim

“Strong capability” without detail.

C · Specific claim

Named equipment or capacity without enough verification.

B · Structured evidence

Dated facts, conditions, records and responsible pages.

A · Cross-verified evidence

Primary records plus relevant independent confirmation.

4. Evidence coverage is not factory capability

Manufacturing Evidence Coverage= publicly verifiable key facts ÷ confirmed key manufacturing facts

A low score can mean weak public evidence rather than a weak factory. A high score means the evidence is more complete; it does not mean the factory suits every order.

5. Evidence inventory

Start with the legal entity and production site, then document equipment, processes, capacity conditions, quality controls, R&D, certifications, applications, export delivery and after-sales traceability. Every public claim should have an owner, date and supporting record.

6. Industry differences

  • Advanced materials: grades, properties, laboratories, TDS/SDS, application and batch stability.
  • Industrial machinery: machining, stable speed, operating conditions, acceptance and overseas service.
  • Toys: injection, tooling, printing, assembly, product testing, OEM flow and market compliance.

7. Execution and retesting

  1. 01Interview the factory and create a controlled Factory Facts inventory.
  2. 02Score evidence coverage and identify high-risk gaps.
  3. 03Publish critical facts in accessible HTML with original records where approved.
  4. 04Align facts across official and credible third-party sources.
  5. 05Retest whether AI answers can state the capability and its limits accurately.

8. Procurement boundary

The framework does not replace a factory audit, financial review, sample testing or supply-chain due diligence. Manufacturing Evidence Score and Procurement Fit Score must remain separate.
